Weymouth South Youth Baseball - 9 Year Old Division
This division is primarily used to get the players ready for the big leagues or as we call it, the Majors.
The players pitch from 43 – 46 feet depending on their ability.
In the fall of each season the players have the choice to try out for the majors or register for the AA Minor league.
There is a Cal Ripken 9 year old All- star team each summer that competes against several towns on the South Shore.
These games are all played at Gifford Park on Thicket Street in South Weymouth just off of Pond Street. |
